Well i guess this isn’t possible as i got a warning the virtual adapter was already in use for connection #1. is there a way around this? currently i am using a vm to keep a connection to data center 2, but it would be nice not to have to do that
If both datacenter are owned by the same organization, build a VPN between the two using the hardware at the locations.
If they are two different clients of your that you support, don’t use global VPN on their hardware… get a firewall at your house and have both of their firewalls build a VPN to your house, and use SSLVPN on your firewall to connect to both.
Also group vpn is dead don’t use it. Barely works, not secure. Ssl vpn, you get like 2 for free on a tz
two diff orgs. i already have a tz at my house with tunnels built when at home, but i’m not always there.
your TZ has a SSLVPN server already included.
while remote, connect to the SSLVPN at your house, and that will extend your access into to the orgs via the established VPN.
SSLVPN > HomeTZ > VPN > Remote customer.
no static ip at my house. it changes every month or so from att. too much of a pita while traveling and such, if it’s not possible with gvc, i’ll just keep doing what im doing with the vm or one at a time. not a big deal at all, just wanted to see if there was another way…ty
You just need to add the additional routes at home to your site to site. 5 mins setup.
You don’t need a static if the other side has one, or setup a free ddns. For no ddns, office to home side would be 0.0.0.0 and set ike to aggressive.
IKEv2 would work as well.
