Accessing Windows VPN Client From WSL2

As I’m typing this I’m guess it’s not possible but I’m posting here in case someone is more knowledgeable than I am (highly likely). Here goes.

I have a VPN client running in windows that lets me connect to a remote network.

Is it possible to use my WSL2 shell to piggy back off the windows VPN client to access that network? In case it matters, the client is Checkpoint Endpoint Security

Did a better search and found this for others who are looking

I’m having the exact same issue, can’t seem to find a solution

I’m not able to get this working here with WSL2 and latest Win10 update. I’ve tried setting my Virtual Switch Manager to have WSL be “external” instead of “internal”, i’ve tried mucking with /etc/resolv.conf files to explicitly list my VPN’d dns servers, etc.

Everything was working fine before upgrading from wsl v1 to v2 :frowning:

Looks like I may have to downgrade to v1
