[ALL] Browsec: The Chrome Extension Which Opens Up a World of New Content

Download the extension Browsec from the Google Chrome store… now. It allows you to very easily change your location from a choice of Netherlands, Singapore, UK and USA. This means you can watch content from these countries (Singapore unfortunately does not currently have Netflix). The extension is also a proxy which means you can procrastinate at work and school on Netflix now :P. Having recently been abroad in a country without Netflix I have used this to watch all my faves and tick off some shenanigans on my list.

If a service is free, you are the product.
I’ll stay with my paid vpn, thank you very much.

What’s so good about this? I use dotVPN and it has a lot more countries available, is free, and couldn’t be any easier to use…

2.2 Disclosure:
Browsec doesn’t disclose your Personal information unless it is required by the legal law enforcement requests.

A vpn is like 4-6 dollars per month. Are you saying you prefer to risk getting your personal data sold to 3rd parties over that?

$40 for a year.

Also, read up on Hola!. If you’re fine with your computer being member of a botnet, you should be fine with the free extensions.

Pretty much every internet company runs on this privacy policy of ‘if required by law’. Even the website you are on right now: reddit will not disclose your information unless required by law.

Of course Browsec will collect some of your information, but that doesn’t mean it’s collecting a substantial amount more than big companies like Facebook, Twitter etc.

Who is to say the nature of the data Reddit collects is not more personal than that of the data which Browsec collects.
