Any good vpn which doesn't lower my download speed and actually has more than a handfull of servers?

Tried using ProtonVPN but it lowers my download speed from 70mbps to 4mbps and they don’t even list where the US servers are so you end up just guessing if it’s west or east coast because it doesn’t show ping

You clearly don’t understand how a VPN works. Read about it. There is no VPN in the world that does not reduce your download speed.

I am guessing you’re using the free version, there’s no such thing as a good free VPN.

Sounds like a port forwarding issue. But PIA has plenty of speed and mullvad is a favorite around here.

I use Nord, they have plenty of servers and I haven’t noticed any kind of slowdown.
If you can buy a subscription when it’s on sale, it stays that price until you cancel it.

I got surfshark VPN and it utilizes 9mb/s of my 11mb/s speed when downloading.

I subscribed for 2 years, and I’m sharing it for $15. payment using Steam Gift Card. well if youre in my country we can meet or use local bank but thats highly unlikely.

4 people have joined the subscription with no complains.

Mullvad. I paid for a year and it was $65ish USD. You can pay month to month and give no personal info. I’m new to VPNs but it’s so easy to set up and use and I am fully protected. I’ve had zero issues. I am surprised people even ask because I see Mullvad suggest far more than anything else. Lol.

You will likely always run into speed issues with shared vpn’s - although there are many great vpn’s out there we offer a dedicated line to every user that mitigates these problems.

to be honest, I’ve only been using vpnhouse lately. And it’s true that others reduce the speed very much. Here, from 80 to 75mbps, there may be a decrease, but it is imperceptible in fact.

Works really well with a flashed router especially wireguard. I have Nord and Surfshark if you want to trade. I want Mullvand for wireguard

I don’t have any issues with the free version of ProtonVPN. I think it has gotten faster since I’ve been using it. I am grateful there is a free VPN available from a reputable company.

It doesn’t seem that way to me. When i tried to renew 6 months before my contract was up, it was normal priced. However, perhaps they always offer a sale near the end of your contract?

I got a 65% off + 3 free months offer (for a 2 year renewal) about 1-2 months before mine expired. So, about $2.50 a month.

I didn’t act on it and a few days before expiration, i messaged them asking if they would apply the (now expired) deal. Nay. So, I’m going to Mullvad because according to Reddit they are less likely to have leaks/problems.

Lmao no it doesn’t. After your first term is over the renewal is 1-year sub for normal price.
