Why when you clear all duckduckgo data on android does the app automatically turn on the Location permission?
Every single time you clear all data duckduckgo requests your location… This has been happening for awhile now and on multiple devices. It doesn’t seem right for a browser who markets themselves as a privacy focused browser. What’s the point of using there tracker blocker feature if we already no that they request location after every app reset?
Are you using their VPN? I think it’s getting your location to find the closest VPN to you.

Because, for convenience sake for most users, this is the default setting. Clearing all data resets the settings to their default value.
