The AWS Client 5.5.0.2619 will not run on my MacBook pro. Im running macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6.
Basically when I enter my credentials and click Sign in, it says Starting Workspace and pretty much exits with: WorkSpacesClient.macOS quit unexpectedly.
Any Ideas?
you’re running 10.13. so 3 major versions behind. not unexpected that a new version of 3rd party software would have trouble running, or even support a very out of date OS.
From the error, I’m assuming this is the Workspaces Client.
Has this version worked previously on your device? It’s a very new release so possibly a comaptibility issue - have you tried a previous stable release, say 5.3?
Could be the root certs are expired in the OS and won’t let it make a secure connection that it doesn’t know how to handle
didnt realize I was so far behind… Will try to update the OS.
This is the client and first time I have installed it and attempted to run it
I guess its the client. Im new to AWS and just attempting to get the software up and running on my laptop.
How are you connecting? SSO or Auth keys?
Typically you run aws sso configure
Also from reading other replies I would definitely update your OS
