I’ve been using qbittorrent and realized that I really need a VPN. I am a complete beginner when it comes to qbittorrent and VPN’s. Can someone please advice me on a low cost VPN ( a few dollars/month) that works well with QB on a mac? Also if you can point me in the direction of how to get it set up. Thank you.
I can only recommend PIA because I have used them for years and they are a “no log” vpn. I’m sure there are others that have better this or that, but this one has worked great for me.
I use Pia, no logs and inexpensive. If you want to save money, check out all payment methods. It’s usually much cheaper to pay yearly ( about $50) than monthly (about $75 a year total). And this works the same for most good vpn providers. Pia allows connecting to 5 devices at a time. I also use Surfshark at work, similar pricing and no logs I believe, but allows unlimited device connections.

Thank you. I think I’m going to use mullvad- I like that I can pay for 1 month at a time instead of laying out a full year. My question is- how common is it to pay with an anonymous gift card or is that being overly cautious? do most people use their credit cards?

Some vpns log your information and potentially could be court ordered to hand it over. No log vpns don’t keep records of your information therefore nothing to track.
Not uncommon since you are going for the most privacy. But really doesnt matter.
