Can I set up Express VPN so it only works for Wi-Fi?

The VPN has been eating up my data, even when I got my phone connected to the WiFi at home. I only get 12GB a month.

To my knowledge you would have to buy a separate router that allows you to install a VPN. Express VPN has a couple options on their website. You will take that router and plug it into your ISP’s gateway.

So I can turn it off on my phone and leave it to my hub?

I tried that so I can get it to work for my Switch. My hub comes with my ISP, and it doesn’t have the option to install it.

I think it will work with switch, check it out on ExpressVPN’s website, their router apps are exceptionally well

I have an Android phone and the app lets you “drop VPN connection” with trusted connections.

“OPTIONS => SETTINGS => Auto-Connect” First put “cellular network” under “Trusted Networks” Then toggle the option to drop VPN when connected to trusted networks.

This should keep you connected to VPN except cell network.

(Assuming your phone gives wifi priority over the cell net)

It doesn’t. I’ve tried it all. everything on the website, it doesn’t work at all.
