I’m worries that this may happen because last time I tried playing something in Lebanon my blizzard account, it got suspended because they suspected I had been hacked.

The other time I had a layover at Venezuela and a friend came to the airport to meet me and while I had some time I decided to knock out the inferno. Wouldn’t believe my luck got the cape on my first try. Generous stranger congratulated me with 500m gp too.
After that I continued my flight home and when I tried to log in they said I was banned anyway I tweeted Mod Ash he said they are never wrong so they lost me as a loyal player I guess
No, I’ve moved from Australia to the Netherlands, back again, and then 3000km across the country, then to the UK briefly, and back to Australia without issue, over the span of a 20+ year old account.
Avoid ‘free’ or public vpns and try to use the device you usually use to login (same phone/laptop) if you’re worried.
I moved from America to Honduras for a year and back, no issues logging
It has happened in the past. It’s probably unlikely though. If it happens and you have the recovery information for your account (payment details, location/dateof account creation) stuff like that, you can just get it unlocked anyways.
I imagine they don’t just look at the Ip but also the device ID so as long as you play on the same device you usually play on it SHOULD be fine…
Then again it’s jagex you never know
You’ll get your account locked most likely due to them thinking you got hacked. Just recover it after that and you’re fine
You can get you account suspended for simply existing.
I was worried about this too, I’ve been travelling around Asia (only ever played from UK). I have also been using a VPN for the first time as well, using VPN to connect to all kinds of different countries whilst I’ve been on my travels. Also played without VPN, public wifi, mobile data etc. Ontop of that I bought a new laptop whilst here in Asia which I’ve obviously never used for osrs before and it’s been fine for weeks now.
I was really nervous to play for the same reasons as you. Don’t want to lose thousands of hours of progress over something stupid like this, but hopefully this helps put your mind at rest a bit.
Nope, my account got hacked earlier this year and had several logins from China and Jagex’s system thought that was totally normal and didn’t flag it
Unlikely, and you can get it unbanned through support.
Traveled for work and played on downtime. Japan, india, indonesia, south korea, uk, germany, norway, papua new guinea, philippines. Nothing happened over the 4 years of travel.
Frequent on and off vpn use as well. Long as you use the same device with session token, im pretty sure you’re fine.
I’ve traveled all over and even logged in from 4 different countries within 24 hours, you’ll be just fine.
