Since yesterday, the opera vpn is not working and i get the message “vpn is temporarily unavailable. opera is resolving the problem”. I tried all the fixes that i found online, i even completely re-instaled opera but still no luck. is it possible that nordvpn is interfering even though its not active?

Browser problem is rare. It only happen once, and it was due to expired root certificate. Not because of browser software bug or possible interference by other browser addon.
The problem in most cases are due to server problem.

every person close to me that i ve asked, they dont have an issue with the vpn. only me. is it possible to still be a server issue? i tried other regions too instead off auto but still the issue remains
Opera uses api2.sec-tunnel.com for the proxy authentication. Try accessing that from the addressbar and check the result.
If the web browser can’t find the domain name, it means that, the domain is blocked by the DNS server. Whichever the one you used to make the connection.
If the web browser can’t connect to the specified server with an error message of other than timeout, it means that, the connection is blocked either by your ISP, or locally by a firewall in your computer, or in your router (if the router is provided by the ISP; where they may have control over the router).
i found the solution. basically i found what was creating the problem. nordvpn. although it was turned off and not connected to a server, it was somehow interfering with opera vpn and some functions of various webpages. i uninstaled nord and everything works fine now. Pretty weird because i had nord on my pc for quite sometime now and there was no issue until yesterday.
