CyberGhost VPN, does it work?

Does anyone else use CyberGhost vpn with their chromebook? If so, how did you get it to work? When I follow the instructions I get “internal error” after it tries to connect.

Secondary question, what’s the best VPN service to use with a chromebook?

Try Gom VPN, worked for me and was super easy to setup

I currently use Tunnelbear(premium, but the free version works fine as well). I use both the browser extension and the Android App, as Chrome keeps those separate(extension for browser traffic, App for Android-related traffic).

I’ve dealt with their support a few times(No big issues, just questions to get most out of the service) and I can vouch for it.

While I understand VPN’s and have set up my own before, I like the simplicity and “get it done” mindset of Tunnelbear.

I’ve been using TorGuard on my Flip. Haven’t had any problems.

Several Chromebooks were recently updated allowing them to run Google Play Store (and download apps).

CyberGhost is downloadable. I’ve not yet tested it yet however. Will update when I do.

Thanks for the reply; looks a little sketchy though. The $20 referral pyramid scheme they have going on doesn’t do their credibility any favors.

Bummer. As of now, it won’t even hide the IP address… Guess I’ll wait a little longer.

There are other VPN Extensions for Chrome to use in the meantime. Tunnelbear and Betternet come to mind…
