Going to a holiday in Dec, would hate to lose the login streak, but unsure if it’s accessible in China, as I doubt it…

All jokes aside, Norton VPN is a hit or miss. Surfshark is better imo

I did go to China in August, you need a vpn in order to access the game. Many VPNs give you a free trial, take advantage and try them out to see which one works best

I’m actually in China right now. I use mullvad as my VPN and can access the game. Mullvad is cheap and pretty easy to use.

The game works in China without VPN. I think it might have to do with the fact it was a Japanese game so it’s not blocked.

I just came back from another trip to China and had no problem connecting on 2 of the 3 major mobile operators. Roaming off any sim from a non China carrier also works.

Alot of VPNs advertise that they work in China, but don’t. Make sure you verify that you get one that works inside the great firewall.

note that vpns are technically illegal in china. I dont believe non-citizens have been punished yet for vpn use however

I used Shark VPN and some of the servers worked. But I heard someone say it only works in trial period, lol

To be honest, I did have a few times the game connected without using VPN, but it changes from location to location, so I just have my VPN connected almost all the time and didn’t really try using all the local routings
