Does it matter what kind of VPN you use to be safe enough for banking on an unsecured public wifi?

Won’t it just say untrusted SSL cert authority?

I’ve been using VPNs on PayPal for years with no issue. Even going through dozens of VPN servers across several providers.

My PayPal account has thousands going through it yearly too.

Very interesting thanks for explaining!

If it is an untrusted Certificate, it will say it is an unsecured connection and tell you someone might be trying to steal your information. Here is the error: https://images.app.goo.gl/hUpyVNX5L1gbUPCy5

If someone still hit advanced and proceeded to go to the website, that person deserves to get their information stolen.

OK, my mistake, keep doing it no problem.

Right, that’s what I had in mind too yep. Def deserved at that point.
