Don't use kaspersky for sake of god

I like Kaspersky & have used it for years. I do find though that with the Kaspersky Plus…it blocks me from getting into 2 of my accounts. In order to access these accounts, I have to disable the protection for the short period of time, which I don’t feel is the safest thing to do. I’ve written Kaspersky several times about this issue, & none of their suggestions have resolved the issue, or they send me a very long step-by-step procedure to try. I’m no tech by any stretch of the imagination, & those proposed steps left me more confused than ever.

Hey, I recently bought the annual subscription of Kaspersky Plus, through which I also got their VPN service. Now I want to share this VPN with one of my family members living in the US. I only paid for 1 device, but they said we can disable the VPN service from one end to make it available for the other person. Do you have any idea how you disable it? Simply turning off the VPN does not help.

The real question is : which one of these is worse, Norton or McAfee ?

We all have our own preferences but I would never ever use a free AV…you don’t get the tech support like you would with a paid subscription. As the old saying goes…“you don’t get anything for free”.

Yeah, Norton’s problem is that the program is too big. I used to sell electronics, so I got tipped off on that long ago.

Googling “Best antivirus 2023” just gives you sponsored sites and articles. To find a good AV and learn more about making a good decision check out the wiki https://www.reddit.com/r/antivirus/wiki/index/ and this yt channel https://youtube.com/@pcsecuritychannel

It has been known for years that Norton slows down the computer.

“russian malware” wtf is wrong with you?

I would recommend to uninstall and do a fresh install of Kaspersky Plus. I also had upgraded from Total and I did a complete reinstall, everything is fine now.

Are you on windows 10 or 11?
What browser?
Can you provide your exact cpu model and ram model?

You need to uncheck a box in the settings, something about “inject something in browser”. Google should help you with that.

Aside from Kaspersky, Malwarebytes Anti-malware is the only thing I need on my computer. I don’t even actively use it most of the time, but it is very good at finding and rooting out infected stuff on the rare occasion it’s been a problem.

What probably happened was that kaspersky flagged the driver from razer and quarantined it because it was unsigned. OP can very easily add that driver to the exclusion list and remove it from quarantine. Instead of asking for support he made a post whining about kaspersky when this seems to be a fault on razers end.

Norton is hot garbage even Windows defenders better

Norton is the best one

lmao

Head to My Kaspersky, click to the device you connect and disable it

“Give me all your cryptominers”

For real though, the only PC I had problems with Kaspersky was on my laptop. It disabled my touchpad and I couldn’t find out how to fix that, but it works great on my desktop :).

McAfee is just garbage. Norton is average. Kaspersky is best. Watch youtube videos testing different AV softwares.

In my opinion, McAfee is the worst, hands down!

I know, in case you didn’t notice this comment and post has more than a year
