It appears Netflix has a hidden parameter that simply locks you geographically to a ‘primary location,’ because doesn’t matter what sever a choose my home page is nearly identical every single time. Also, often I see "Award Winning US [blank] " while, I have an established connection outside US.
I have also verified that my ip matched the server location, meanwhile Netflix has hard set my account to US.
Things I’ve tried:
Turn off VPN, Log out Netflix → Turn on VPN , Log in Netflix
Repeating step 1 [in the past would solve the problem in 2-4 repeats]
Turn Vpn ON, Log In Netflix → multiple page refreshes.
I’ve spoken to customer support, and they couldn’t help me either.
Is Anyone here using a VPN that still let’s you access netflix from other geo locations?
Contact your vpn provider and let them know Netflix is geoblocking whatever server you are trying to use. If your vpn provider advertises Netflix access they will take steps to fix the problem.
You are very much out of the loop here, Netflix has essentially patched out country hopping.
What happens is, when you purchase a subscription to Netflix they log the billing country (if you buy a gift card the gift card will be per country ie Netflix US, Netflix CA, Netflix UK etc) and whenever you leave that country Netflix defaults to their own Netflix Originals content.
Expressvpn with Netflix stopped working for me too a few weeks back. I was on the basic tier (the one they just removed ) and had been watching eu countries from the US until it just wouldn’t show anything outside the states. Haven’t been able to find any real info online, the articles seem outdated or are just ads pushing the service. I’m also not seeing a whole lot of posts about it so maybe it just varies. More likely Netflix is/will be tightening up on VPN use like every other sucky thing they’ve been doing. Oh well, it isn’t worth the ads or the price anymore. I hope people drop them in droves.
No VPN works with Netflix any longer? What about all the articles that claim NordVPN or some other VPN allow for watching netflix shows of a different geo location? Unless the articles are simply outdated or there is some truth to them?

The only thing you might be confused about is that within the EU you always get the content of the country you pay in. So swapping from one EU country to another won’t work if you pay in the first country. But from EU you can still vpn to outside EU. This has nothing to do with Netflix but with EU regs stating that content that you pay for should always be available within the EU
