We use the FortiClient VPN on about 25 devices without issues: we preconfigure a saved VPN profile where the URL and the Username are saved so that only the password has to be entered to connect.
Now we rolled out device number 26 which is identically configured to the other ones. However on this device, the FortiClient VPN will show an empty “username” field, even if using the saved profile that contains the saved username.
You can even go edit the profile and you’ll see that the username is there. It just doesn’t pre-enter it into the logins mask. And we don’t understand why, because in 25 identical devices it does this, as it’s supposed to.
When deleting the saved profile ad re-creating it, it will pre-enter the username… but only until the next reboot.
Anyone came across this bug and know how to fix it?
