Which free VPN would you recommend using while torrenting? Preferably one that doesn’t slow down download speed too much but I realize beggars can’t be choosers.
None, there is no free VPN that offers p2p. Mullvad is $5.41.
Unfortunately, there is no free VPN that offers P2P network.
Popular free VPNs like Proton, Hideme etc will disconnect if they see its a P2P traffic.
Nothing free is useful in that area.

Just get PIA if I remember correctly to get a seriously discounted first year and even after that it’s £30 a year like £2.40 a month or something, have been using it for 4+ years never had an issue
Don’t use mullvad specifically for torrenting because they don’t offer port forwarding. Use airvpn or something else cheap

I use Proton on Mac and unfortunately they dont have port forwarding either 
I didn’t know that. VPN’s tend to be pretty affordable with 2 year plans so I haven’t had much cause to use it other than when I was between plans.
