Getting ads on youtube while setting location to Albania?

I get ads while my location is set to albania but only in french, before have been using this location for months with no ads, but yesterday youtube started showing me ads?

Your browser or phone is probably set to French, or you’re leaking your location. Alternatively your vpn exit server (pop) has an IP that youtube thinks is French - do a “whats my IP” if that comes back as Albania, then do a browser fingerprint test

Install Grayjay from futo.org and you well never see an advert again.

I suggest revanced for phones and ublock origin for pc. Tried IP change before and it’s not very reliable especially with accounts

I’m trying to figure this out as well. I have my router set to route a targeted list a YouTube domains through an Albanian vpn server which was working great for a couple of weeks. Now I’m getting adds in French and I’m not sure how to change location across all of my devices. I’ve tried setting location for traffic to Albania to certain devices with this feature of my router but I’m not sure if that’s the correct way to go about.

Any idea why this would happen in an AppleTV and how to test that?

Had my phone location on, after that everything stopped occuring.

Weird though how it started happening after months of using it though, thought if it was location would happen straight away.

AppleTV user here. After months of no ads I just had French ads and googled it and found this post.

I have never set my AppleTV to France. Only ever set to Albania unless I turn it off to use Amazon Prime as it doesn’t like VPN’s.

Help! Just had 2 x 1 minute unskippable french ads on a 25 min video
