Does anyone have GlobalProtect version 6.2.2?
I do, still testing it on a few users. What about it?
Running 6.2.2 in always on mode. Definitely works better than .1.
We’re testing 6.2.2 here with always on, without internal detection. I had an issue with one client that was insisting it would be on demand regardless of what config was pushed. I had to manually reset that one. Otherwise it’s working well enough.
Any issues with it so far?
Where can I download it? Do you have a program?
I’m not sure if we are using version 6.2.1 or 6.2.2 but I think we encountered a lot of issues upgrading to 6.2.2. We are using internal detection, which I didn’t know works only in ‘always-on’ connection mode. After rolling the configuration back to the original state (connection method back to always-on) users were connecting to the external gateway.
I raised a ticket with support and after few weeks they. Found out that the agent is “stuck” and using cached portal configs. The resolution is to go to c:/user’s//program files/appdata/local/palo alto networks/globalprotect and then delete all files starting with “PanPortalCfg_” and reboot the PC. Worked for me so far.
We have the odd saml auth issue after sleep but other than that, pretty good.
Go to your FW, DEVICE > GP > CHECK NOW > Install the ,6.2.2. When connect to the client, Will automaticaly ask you to be upgraded on the client.
On the palo alto support portal can go to the tab upgrades AND look for GP, there can download It.
What is that? Like it won’t come back on?
