Mac Virtual Display works great! When I turn on my MPB 3rd party VPN, the connection gets lost. What kind of connection is made between the Mac and the AVP that would cause this?
I have a few custom settings on my VPN that may cause this (no local sharing, no IPV6, Wiregaurd), but would like to understand the underlying issue so that I can resolve this in the best way.
Probably your no local sharing is doing this as it’s sharing via your local wifi network.
Yes, that seems to have done it, thank you. This might be a question for the VPN provider, but would you expect to be able to explicitly enable the connection between just these two devices as opposed to the entire local network?
I am unsure - might want to send Apple feedback. My vpn doesn’t supported VisionPro yet -neither does the app I use it for.
What you’re wanting is a split tunnel VPN. If this VPN is a corporate VPN for work, they probably do not allow it.
