How to watch The Block outside of Australia

Hey everyone,

There’s usually a lot of posts from people outside of Australia asking how they can watch the show so I thought I would make a post listing some different options. I’m watching from Sweden myself so it’s always fun with more international fans to keep the discussions threads alive when the Aussies are sleeping :slight_smile:

So here are some of my reliable options, feel free to comment with more and I can add them to the post as well:

  1. https://shvideos.net/2021/10/15/the-block/

This is a free streaming site so no downloads needed, they usually get the episodes up within an hour from the broadcast ending in Australia. The Block airs at 7 pm / 19.00 Melbourne time on Sundays and 7.30 pm /19.30 on weekdays and usually runs for 90 minutes so check your local time zone to see when the episode should be available for you.

Shvideos.net is also great if you want to watch older seasons, they have all episodes from season 9-18.

  1. r/DownUnderTV

Subreddit that links to different sites where you can download the episodes. Also usually gets the epsiodes up quickly after they’ve aired.

  1. Use a VPN to access 9now.com.au

This is the network’s own streaming site. It works well if you have VPN AND use a web browser to watch. You can’t use the app though because you won’t be able to download it. A minus to this method is that you sometimes have to watch the commericals throughtout the show which you are free from when you stream or download “illegally”.

  1. Download from torrent sites like ThePirateBay

Since I’m Swedish this of course used to be my go to method hehe but TPB is often blocked and I’ve found it harder and harder to find The Block on torrent sites unfortunately. But there are many different options and probably sites that still get the epsiodes up quickly.

Thank you for this! I’m a Block fan in the UK and what’s available here is patchy to say the least (currently only goes up to season 14 on Amazon Prime and skips All Stars series, and season 18 on UKTV Play), so will definitely be checking out shvideos in particular :slight_smile:

I live in Finland so I see the Block on TV. And then I watch it on MTV Katsomo which is Finnish tv app

If you’re gonna encourage people to pirate, please use some better sites than thepiratebay.
