Hi, I posted this under another topic in this subreddit, I don’t want to spam but maybe you could really help me understand what happened.
I was curious about Xiaohongshu so I downloaded it on my android phone, setup an account with my italian mobile number (I am an Italian living in Italy), I set english as the language of the interface. Used it a bit. After a few hours, when I logged in again, I was surprised finding my account was banned because it “has violated the rules and has seriously violated the Xiaohongshu community norms”, at least that is the automated translation of part of the message I get when logging in. I had not posted nor commented anything; just read some posts by other users and occasionally taken a screenshot to have it translated by Google lens (as I’m not proficient in chinese, though I’d love to learn it).
If I push the button to appeal, I get a “Function upgrade, not open” message (guess the function is not ready for english interface yet).
After that I set up a new account with the facebook login, it is working but it doesn’t allow me to bind my phone number to the account.
Do you think I did something wrong, and is there any way to use my +39 mobile number?
Hi please help! Whenever I try to upload a video, my video is super choppy and doesnt want to load, so I cant edit it. It will load like the first second of the video and then stutter and freeze. If i try to skip further into the video to edit it, the video goes black. I am using Google Pixel 6 Pro and my videos are shot in 2160x3840. The only videos I have managed to upload are videos from tiktok or other social media apps that i downloaded to my phone and reuploaded to Rednote.

When I try make a post with hashtags, they appear normal but after posting they show as normal text and don’t work! I couldnt view tags either because of “function upgrade won’t open” but installing the APK directly helped. I just want to be able to use tags!
It says my number has been registered but I can’t comment or post. It shows two accounts both mine, screwed up along the way and tried to restart but obviously my number is binded to the first one. I can’t access the first one. Help!
Please help! After only using XHS for around an hour, my account stopped working. I can’t comment, private message, or post anymore. Is my account muted or banned? And I can’t find a reason why my account is like this.

Hello, I don’t know if you’ll see this or if you can help me, but I’m going to ask anyway since I really want to try Rednote.
So I downloaded the app a couple of days ago when I heard about it on TikTok and I immediately created an account with Google Sign-In. Now, I started following someone, and they sent me a DM, which was really nice, but because of that, I realized that I needed to verify myself with my phone number to be able to answer DMs, upload something, or even edit my profile.
So far, I’ve found my country code, which shows up twice for some reason, and I entered my number, triple-checked it & tried both country codes, which are identical, so I guess it doesn’t matter (+49 - Germany), but still, I haven’t received a verification code. I tried multiple times but it still doesn’t seem to work even though I’m doing everything right.
Is this a known issue or do you know what I could do to successfully verify?
I would be happy if someone could help me since I really want to engage with the people on this app
Hi, I keep getting logged out and I have to enter the verification code again every day. Entering the password won’t work, only the verification code works. When I try to enter the password, it just says that I have to use the verification code. I’m an editor for a channel, so it’s used by 2 people with 2 different IP addresses. That works fine like that for Youtube and Tiktok. But to use Red Note every day, I always have to ask the other person for the verification code. Are you familiar with this?
How does Red Note work with account sharing and editors? Youtube even has an option to add editors and give them access.
so i got a violation and it says my notes won’t be promoted to the people who don’t follow me like not explore only through friends or something. how do i fix this and will it always be like that?
