I’ve been experiencing this issue for roughly a week now. That being when attempting to view a video on Youtube, the video never starts and infinitely buffers unless I refresh the page. The reason why I’m posting to this subreddit is because the issues stop when I disable my VPN, and I was wondering if anyone else has had the same experience as I’ve had.
I’ve searched this subreddit for those with similar problems, and whatever solutions shared didn’t work for me (Ex: using WireGuard over OpenVPN, disabling obfuscation, setting MTU to 1280, etc).

This has been happening to me too, for about the same amount of time. Thanks for the info, I assumed Youtube was cracking down on VPNs

I haven’t tried another browser, but I’ve managed to resolve the issue, thanks to another user bringing up how http3 is bugged in Firefox-based browsers.
So a lot of people on firefox seem to have this issue lately. I haven’t noticed anything and I think it is because I use h264ify extension. I downloaded it because I have a laptop from 2012 so youtube was really slow before. OP give it a shot if it seems ti be browser related

I wonder why the issue only occurred when I had the VPN on. Regardless, thank you for pointing this out to me, as I’ve been using Waterfox for the past year or so.
