Backgrounds are now frozen in time on Switch, they had to cut those animations to make the framerate go to 60 FPS, and it’s not consistent, some drops happen.
Yeah, I tried just to see how much ping I would get. Like 340ms, didn’t even try to battle as I didn’t want to ruin my day nor the japanese player’s day.
Misleading, there are concessions but there’s still loads of dynamic stuff going on. I also haven’t noticed a single frame drop, even in arcade mode when there are 3 character on the screen or crazy moments online with loads of projectiles and rollback.
If you look at the backgrounds the concessions are of course obvious, but in the heat of a match I don’t notice it at all.
Oh no,That’s pretty bad.I recommend you use VPN if you have chance, it’s called 加速器 in China, it’s a common thing in China for different region playing,I don’t know how it called in Europe.
VPN doesn’t lower your ping in any way, quite the opposite actually.
It’s like you’re trying to send a package from Poland to US, and it will take a long time (let’s say 4 days) because US is so far away, so instead of mailing it directly you decide to mail it to your friend in UK so that he can mail it to US afterwards because UK is closer to US than Poland. Well what happens then is that the package takes two days to arrive to UK, then your friend goes to claim and resend it on the next day, and it still takes for the package 3 days to arrive to US from UK. So in the end the package arrives two days later than if you just send it to US directly.
