It’s amazing how not only can we not get help from our advisors of any department, but now we can’t even access our accounts. The VPN is currently not accepting my *correct* passwords. I am already at my wits end with GSU and about to transfer.
i had this issue too, you have to change your password on paws then sign in again with the new one
The VPN is a University System of Georgia decision, not a Georgia State University decision.
On the “Second Password” section, I would recommend typing “Push” or “Phone”
On top of that, why tf is the pantherpay service fee so high? That shit was $82 for me
Same problem here. Georgia State can’t figure out how to do the very basics, why are they trying to mess with doing ‘high-level’ stuff like this??? The administration at GSU are worthless idiots, I can’t believe they decided to implement this of all times, they still can’t even take basic calls and questions from students.
I changed my password and am still stuck on “Authenticating”. Anyone else?

And they claim it’s temporary while some kind of vulnerability is addressed.
UGA is dealing with this too (the VPN requirement was implemented for them about 10 days ago - I don’t know why GSU took longer.) and a comment over on r/UGA indicates that:
An update to this: Our vendor for Athena, Ellucian, has indicated that patches to resolve the underlying issue will be available on August 4th. The UGA team will test and deploy the patches in hopes of returning to normal operations before the first day of classes. Users can continue to access Athena from the VPN or vLab until we return to normal operations.
I am, of course, assuming that Athena there is what we call Paws.
I don’t know if you actually work at GSU or are just a fanboy, but GSU SUCKS! The school is absolute garbage! You can get a better education on youtube than GSU. They are absolute thieves, all the money people pay for tuition to this school is better spent being flushed down the toilet!
It’s a university system of georgia thing not just gsu. Get a life!!!

You must be a troll or someone who dropped out or graduated and only got low paying jobs and bitter at GSU about your situation. If you hate GSU you had to option to go to another school, no one forced you to stay. BTW 
the same can be said about other schools in georgia as well.
Yeah, it’s super immature to be behaving as you are in these comments. I don’t know how far into GSU you are or if you have been here pre-COVID, but GSU has let a LOT of students down and fall through the cracks. So let’s be nice on my post, eh?

You notice that all of the person I replied to comments have been downvoted by other people too. Also, you act like Tech, Emory, UGA or any other college haven let people down either. Whatever
I mean… I don’t really care what else they’ve posted. I didn’t “come after” you. You’re making this way too personal. I also am not acting like anything. I don’t know why you’re so weirdly obsessed with GSU and are acting like they can’t make mistakes.
