Known login issue

NordVPN has just updated their website with the following message:

We are currently experiencing login issues across all devices and operating systems. Our team is aware of the situation and is actively working to resolve it.

It’s because they got bombarded with login requests when the stupid app Tik Tok went down. There servers couldn’t handle the instant massive amount of traffic and it essentially DDOSed there login servers. It will calm down quickly.

Had to uninstall reinstall the laptop app to get back online. My WIFI adapter “froze” and would not connect to internet. Happened right at the moment of the ban.

oh man so pissed off rn, don’t even use tiktok and because of those users , non-users are here to uffer.

Yep I don’t use it either but my vpn went down right when the ban went into effect and you can look at the down reports and there was a massive spike the moment it happened.

Hope it is restored :persevering_face::persevering_face::persevering_face: weirdly enough it’s working on my mobile phone but have been logged out in my desktop acc.

Downdetector shows that the congestion should have passed. I would try closing the application and then try to log back in. If that doesn’t work a system restart might. If it continues after that they might be rebooting servers to help try and reestablish some order.
