L2TP VPN Connection with no Access to internet

I can connect my device from public to my local network with a L2TP Server configured in Omada. But unfortunately I cannot reach any internet addresses anymore. Any idea why that is?
Is my mistake that I defined an IP range deviating from the local network ip range I selected?

Hm, another odd thing: I can reach the IP .100 in my main subnet(ip of the controller), and devices managed by the controller(e.g. an EAP) but no other

Have you created a second local network that includes the ip range your vpn gives out?

Adding the gateway as DNS did the trick… evidently this does not work automatically
