I live in Colorado and I’m trying to find a good VPN to watch lions and red wings games. From the big three VPNS (Nord, Surfshark, and express) it looks like only surfshark offers a Detroit server. Can anyone let me know if surfshark is good or if other VPNS offer a Detroit sever. Thank you!
I use surfshark with my existing xfinity account to access the detroit local coverage. Works for me
There’s a lot of free streaming sites that are safe to use, don’t need to spend money on a VPN
I use Private Internet Access (PIA). It’s been working great for us.
Just wanna say that isn’t a VPN
I’ve looked into these kind of sites, but I’ve also been looking at buying a vpn for privacy reasons and for the ad blocker, but thanks for the suggestion
Never used a VPN but I’m down in Tampa at my parents and realized I can’t get the game. Got a cable subscription but assume if I log in tomorrow it’ll just ping my location here and show the Bucs game. Can you explain how it works? Thanks.
PIA before being bought was a great and trustworthy service, not so much anymore. A couple years ago PIA was bought by a shady company, Kape Technologies. Research a bit and you’ll find they are suspect for distributing malware, buying VPN ranking sites/changing VPN ranks, and allegedly being connected to government surveillance activities. I urged everyone to not use this VPN service as they would sell or give up your data within a heartbeat to benefit themselves. I know this is a long winded reply, but if I can dissuade anyone from using their service I’ll be happy.
Yeah obviously lmao I am trying to prevent him from wasting money on something he doesn’t need
Wow…I had no idea. Thanks for the info. I won’t use them for torrenting. Since I’m paid up through the end of my subscription cycle, I have no problem continuing to use them to work around geo-restrictions.
