Just out of curiosity what if we switch off VPN for a while and then re enable it to US VPN server, does it work? I’m hoping it should work every time it connects to US server else it would be annoying to have vpn to US server all the time
I’m guessing clearing the cache is that of the app. Did you factory restore your glasses before re-pairing? Reason for asking, because if you have updated once it shouldn’t ask you for updating the glasses again, no?
That sounds great, did you update your glasses during the setup?

Yes, same here mate. I got my glasses 
and then set it up via VPN and it worked and even have the new feature (I think it’s called v2) as well. Are you happy with your glasses?
Mine was working really well with this setup in Sweden up until the 10.0 update and the screen that required you to accept voice commands. That broke the ai support. Same for you guys?
Par contre, meta ai , même activé dans meta view ne comprend toujours que l’anglais pour interagir.

I’ve seen a few posts saying the update won’t download unless the VPN is disabled. Let us know how it all goes for you. You’ll figure it out.
This is an excellent question and one I am not currently brave enough to try. That said, when I arrived in the UK and turned the VPN to the U.S., it did not work. So I believe there’s perhaps something more to it than just the VPN switch.
Perhaps it’s a settings cache in the app, or perhaps there’s something in the app itself.
Another variable to add: If I ask for weather, it knows I am in the UK. GPS does not seem to be a factor.
Yeah I just cleared cache and data for the app and didn’t reset the glasses. I wanted to avoid resetting the glasses, so I wouldn’t have to update them again and thankfully doing it this way meant I didn’t have to and I could keep the VPN on during the setup
I updated before I uninstalled/ reinstalled the app.

Fingers crossed, I have moved back to India recently after placing an order in Denmark, the shop was kind enough to ship it to me. So I’m hoping it would work, I’m mainly going to be using for moto vlogging
