Mozilla launches their own VPN

I’m willing to bet this VPN can be trusted because Mozilla has a solid track record. Firefox is great, Rust is amazing, and I’ve been using Send to safely share files too large for email.

ELI5 how does Mozilla make money?

Probably the only VPN I can fully trust

Which is better this/Mullvad or Nord VPN? Thanks

Mozilla a reseller of Mullvad VPN. price wise is expensive compared to other VPNs out there that have better reviews.

If the 14 eyes are true, Mullvad is part of it. If Mullvad is part of it, then that Mozilla VPN is part of it.

Do your research and don’t subscribe to a VPN because it’s free Mozilla said it’s ok.

Edit: Mozilla’s VPN isn’t free, they’re charging $4.99 USD for Mullvad’s services.

Weird 90s illustration artwork reminds me of Symantec, Borland and Apple eWorld.

Couldn’t this also make them a major target?

What’s Mullvad’s VPN?

It is somewhat disappointing that the Mozilla VPN does not have any Linux support at this time. That would seem to me to be a priority given the renewed interest in Linux for the everyday user.

c’est la vie

This from a company that forgot to update their companies DNS a year or so ago, and broke all extensions in their browser from updating properly?

No thanks.

Can we award a Nobel Prize to a tech company?

What about Tor?
Legit question.

uses it for blackhat kekw jk

Isn’t express vpn really good too?

Thanks, I’m gonna look up Rust & Send.

Send got pulled back by Firefox. It was attacked by a cyber criminals. Although I think they are back online again.
I would suggest sendanywhere. It’s pretty good. And honestly faster than f.send

I really want to believe this, but I’ll wait and see what happens when someone (eg. police) ask for info and see what they do. I’ve heard of some VPNs not handing over info to authorities and some that do.
