Need hardware recommendation for Dual WAN with failover for VPN access to home lab while on the road

While traveling I would like to access my home lab. I have two ISP connections (DSL and cable). I am looking for recommendations for a dual-wan router/firewall/vpn device with failover capability. The reason for wanting a separate dedicated piece of hardware is that I don’t want to run the router/firewall/vpn on a PC/Pi device. My preference is something that can connect directly to DSL (i.e. RJ11 phone) and cable (F connector) but if I need to put the existing ISP devices into bridged mode then I will. My budget is less that $500 USD – yes that is a lot of money but I am open to low-end enterprise (Cisco) gear.

If you are using such a device, what is it, what do you think of it?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.
