It’s my first time in here… I bought Fire TV Stick 4k from amazon.de like few months ago and send it to my uncle house. He back to Turkey and bring my goods with him. I tried to setup Fire TV Stick and everyting was looking great its updated to latest version and stuff but I was not able to download anything or watch. I asked over Chat and they said its not international product. I shocked but didn’t suprised that much since it’s from Amazon.de and Amazon have lot rescriting. So I was wondering if there is anyone way to download any of these softwares; Netflix, Twitch, YouTube and Spotify or should I just put it to trash can.
Unless it’s something specific to Turkey and turkish law, you only need to add a foreign address on your amazon account (american address for example) and then you’ll be able to download netflix (yes, you’ll have turkish subtitles), youtube, spotify and you won’t need a vpn, not for theses apps at least.
You could try aptoid, download to your phone assuming you have an android phone.
Install it on your phone and side load it using apps2fire another android app.
A quick google search should find both.
There may be tutorials on troypoint dot com.
You could perhaps use vpn to Germany there are free ones, there are also trials you could use. Use the vpn to download apps like netflix. As far netflix is concerned it doesnt work with vpn so you would get Turkish netflix. Assuming amazon haven’t locked down its use entirely.
There are vpns that do work but not many.
Okay So, I changed Device address in Amazon.com under Kindle & Device thing to my Uncle home address which is in Germany. I setup my Kindle again and turned on so it said its need to update and I confirmed but I couldn’t be sure so I factory reset and I was able to see Download button however it still gives purchase error I download the Netflix from Apkmirror or something like that but it works fine I also downloaded YouTube from there but it doesn’t look like its YouTube for TV, so I wonder if there is another version for Stick? Does anyone know that? I also wonder can I watch Prime videos which I am able to watch it from my phone and Web browser.
So I bought NordVPN, I changed my location to Germany under Devices and Content and I updated. It’s almost German on my Fire TV(basics are English) I have Amazon Prime Video Membership that I bought in Turkey(which I am able to watch it on my browser with Turkish subtitles and other stuff) however I can use it on my Fire TV which is same account? Where did I made wrong move?
Oh seeing this just great. So how much is this cost for monthly? I was packed everyting, I will setup again tomorrow. Should I connect to UK servers or Germany. Do I still get Turkish subtitles in Netflix when I use VPN? Thanks.
Oh it just getting better because I was scaring VPN lag. I was lost my all hope though. I changed to my uncle address from Germany. I will change it in Stick tomorrow hopefully I can watch my favorite shows. Thanks again.
Ah, snap. I wish I had android phone but I have iPhone, I guess my mom use Android phone but not sure if its new or old. I will look for this option right now. Thanks.
