One time web based VPN remote desktop access

Hello everyone,

First of all, thanks for this community space, has been helpful multiple times. This time I could not find a question similar to the problem I have.

I’m not an expert neither a network administrator, I’m leading the development of a product that needs to interact with Citrix windows virtual machines, which are accessible via a portal web page, when having the VPN connection established to the institution’s network.

The best case scenario, of what we want to achieve, is to allow Users of a website to remote control one of those windows virtual machines, from outside the network, without requiring the user to install any VPN client, and allow the user a one time logon, preferably without username and password, for a determined period of time.

I know this is a short description, I can provide more information if necessary.

Anyone knows if something similar is possible to achieve?

The Citrix ADC provides a login page that allows users to authenticate via an external-facing portal page that provides access to Citrix desktops/apps.

Is this what you’re looking for?

Citrix ADC or Cloud Gateway seem to be a good fit. Not sure on the without username/pass though. Internally you will be running AD and you’re going to need some form of authentication
