I’m looking to get a VPN for security / downloading / anonymity. I travel a little with work, so I want to have something I can use in coffee shops / hotels, etc.
I am from the UK, but lived in Sweden for a while, so I signed up for pandapow https://pandapow.co primarily for viewing streamed UK tv. It seemed fine at the time, but since being back, I havent worried about a VPN, but I really think I want to go back to using one.
Decided to check out pandapow again, but there dont seem to be many reviews / opinions on them from people outside of China.
Has anyone used them? My main concern now I guess is they are located in China and that makes me a little wary of what they might / could do with my traffic (before I only used it to access UK TV sites, then switched it off). Maybe I should put away the tinfoil hat?
Something else that is tempting me is their current wifi dongle offer, which would be pretty awesome for when I am on the road, and works out pretty cheap (I think) Download VPN for Windows in Pakistan - VPN Unlimited (basically $70 for 18 months vpn and the wifi device)
TL;DR Want peoples opinions / experience of Pandapow, and is a chinese VPN safe?
Even though it’s technically in China, Hong Kong is a separate ruling party. But the problem is, that VPN specifically says it logs in its privacy policy. Most of the services recommended on these forums will be superior.

PIA is cheaper ($3 USD/month), more vetted (100,000+ users) and keeps no logs
The deal I mentioned made it just under $4 for 18months and included the VPN WiFi device which tempted me, but yeah I guess the numbers in PIA help give me a bit more confidence, and the logs thing is huge, completely missed that on their website
