Residential VPN IP (Question)

hi. i would like to ask what benefit this would provide. i have the base anonymous vpn service and i don’t live in any of the country listed in the “residential vpn”. what benefit would it be to have this and for what applications? thanks for any help.

The main benefit is accessing financial websites, like banks and crypto exchanges. For example uphold crypto exchange has a problem with the regular torguard vpn address. But residential works fine. One time I forgot to switch the two and tries logging in normally and uphold system blocked me. It took about a month for their customer support to finally unblock me so I can log in again.

Then there’s a thing with captchas. Typically you don’t have to do those if you’re using residential.

Think of it this way The hackers and the scammers are using the same VPN address that you’re using. But the websites can’t tell which of you is which. But the residential IP only belongs to you. So websites find you more trustworthy if you’re logging in from a residential VPN.

Can pretend you are working from home while you’re traveling.
