I’m temporarily in Korea right now and noticed that every survey I enter I automatically get screened out due to me being in Korea and my IP address. I don’t think getting a VPN is worth it but it doesn’t make sense to me that in some pre screeners and some screeners they as “What country are you located”? I’m obviously in the US if I’m entering the survey considering if I wasn’t I would be automatically screened out as I see now. Its just super annoying how the surveys ask the same questions when they already know the answer.
Yes. I went home on vacation (European country) and SB website had popup that told me I was in a non participating country. I accepted it. Rather not jeopardizing my account. I enjoyed my vacation instead and took a long break from SB
Why do these websites screen me out as I’m in Korea, just because I’m in Korea?
Sounds understandable to me.
Using a VPN will get you banned. Hypocritical in my opinion considering how many VPN offers they have. I guess they expect us to sign up for an offer and not use it.
I went to Australia once for work and I got a survey for my daily goal all about Sense of Country and Aboriginies and stuff. I was completely clueless, as an America, but I answered honestly and got my 25 SB after 4 minutes, so…
Don’t use or access SB when traveling abroad. Plenty of posts here about the dangers.
the VPN providers are paying SB for the offer, SB just takes whatever they can get. VPN services get you banned to prevent multiple people on the same IP from doing the same offer.
