Hate to be a comparing nerd but I never felt something like this in Bleach. While both series focused on cool magical swords but the setup and delivery of the Shinuchi reveal is next level. We don’t even know what can this thing do or what it’s capable of yet but the suspense, the menacing black aura alone conveys such a clear message. This blade is a weapon of mass destruction and everyone in the series is treating it as such.
My new favorite chapter too, even just the 1% of the blades power from that one little drop looks absolutely insane and beautiful, imagine 100%

I actually love how the Shinuchi (and all the other enchanted blades) have pretty simple designs but you can just feel the extent of their power
