To me Takeru Sensei is like the Hori sensei in that regard :
When trying to exude a sense of Loom through blackness, it is extremely high density throughout the page and yet EXTREMELY DELICATE+ HIGH PRECISION like every single of the 10s of thousands of strokes to make that thatch is exactly at the right place to make maximum impact.

I mean, this is probably a set up for the future, we surely are not going to see its full power right now.
Maybe the reading comprehension curse is affecting me, but is it actually the STRONGEST blade or just the most dangerous ?
Nothing about it is really revealed. It’s not like Cloud Gouger where we eventually saw everything it was capable of, this one is bound to a dude miles away under lock, key and seals being used by a dead man by proxy. We have a ways to go before we can see even half of what it’s capable of.
I doubt we’ll see the full power of the blade right now, considering that:
- The user is controlling Kyora, who’s greatly injured and who’s used a great amount of spirit energy already. Also, it’s possible that one’s powers are reduced if one uses a ‘guinea pig’ instead of wielding it themselves.
- He can’t even draw the sword out, and he said he’s only using the ‘tip’ of its powers.
It would’ve been a bad writing decision if it was going full out this early on, but Takeru is smart and knows that showing the full extent of the sword early is bad. So maybe in the future we’ll see some extra abilities of the Shinuchi we won’t be shown in the upcoming fight.
Honestly I loved that, Shinuchi is so powerful it doesn’t need to be unsheated to cut stuff, which means when it gets unsheated it will go even more crazy. Tenoí.
