This morning, I noticed that my Wi‑Fi wasn’t working. I tried toggling the Wi‑Fi, and strangely, the mobile network was working—even though it showed no signal at all, it was just able to access the internet. After a while, Google VPN kept notifying me that the current network couldn’t support VPN. Once I turned off the VPN, everything returned to normal. It’s really bizarre—apparently, Google VPN can’t be used with either Wi‑Fi or mobile data. What’s going on?
I had the same problem. Did you solve this?
Same happens here. When being turned on, VPN by Google would cut off both WIFI and mobile network, and told me there was no internet so it couldn’t work. Happy and sad in the same time that it was not only me who has this problem.
Sorry, I haven’t completely solved the issue. However, I managed to activate the VPN using an eSIM from another country. That said, this isn’t an ideal solution, as eSIMs from other countries are very expensive.
