I’m having issues trying to figure out how to get my friend to connect to an all the mods 8 creative world first before creating a survival world together.
I’m the host, and I am able to open to lan and get the code easily, but after they type it into the direct connect and try to connect, it says connecting to world for a few moments then it stops and says “network is unreachable: no further information”
We are both connected to the same radmin vpn private network as well.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
I haven’t had much luck connecting to lan worlds through a vpn. If you have the system resources I would suggest hosting a dedicated server instead. Less connection problems and better performance for everyone connected.
I haven’t used radmin myself but this has worked for me with zerotier vpn without any ports forwarded on the router
Im interested in the process of how to get this to work with zerotier. Do you have any tips on the process?
Everyone who wants to play has to have zerotier installed and be connected to the same network. after that it should work like connecting to any other minecraft server but using the zerotier network ip instead of your actual one. It has been some time since I set up my network so I can’t help with that but from what I remember it was pretty simple following the instructions found through their website.
