Tunnelbear Error: Network connection could not be installed!

I am using this Tunnelbear VPN service. I am getting the following error: http://imgur.com/9lMocRN whenever it is asking to install a network adapter. I have uninstalled then restarted my computer and reinstalled it but no avail. The same error is still popping up. I am using no other VPN services now.

Previously I have enjoyed the free 1.5 GB data but when the data exhausted I had tried to install some other free VPN but those were not useful so I had uninstalled them. I had also installed Tor browser but it is now uninstalled. So where lies the problem in installing network adapter?

It looks like your TAP driver might be corrupt or isn’t able to have the necessary rights to update your network configuration.

Can you please try the following:

  1. Uninstall Tunnelbear
  2. Remove all Tap Adapter drivers from “Device Manager” > “Network adapters” except ONE
  3. When removing that one driver, check the “uninstall driver” as well
  4. Restart your pc
  5. Install TunnelBear
