When I turn on the TunnelBear VPN in Firefox, I get only Unable to find the proxy server errors trying to resolve addresses, and the off button in the TunnelBear extension doesn’t work. I have to log out of TunnelBear to use that as a workaround to turn it off.
You should open up a live log window and see what requests are being blocked when you attempt to activate TunnelBear. It’s possible a necessary host request is being filtered by one of your adblock lists, or security settings. One you see what’s being blocked, you can figure out what needs to be allowed in order to successfully initiate TunnelBear.
Tunnel bear specified in their Android app that they can’t function with DoT turned on. So that might be the reason.
I already looked and I’m not seeing anything obvious.
You reckon it’s also broken on the desktop in Firefox for Windows?
