As per above they are no longer working on my Apple TV4K using DNS. The “international” version if Netflix is shown and for Prime Video a blank/black screen when opening. Deleting and reinstalling the apps does not fix the issue. Anyone else?
EDIT: US Netflix working again on Mediastreamer DNS. US Prime Video still not working.
EDIT 2: As of 8.40am GMT on 16th November it is fixed without me having to do anything. This is on an Apple TV4K.
Prime also not working for me. Was getting a black screen so I uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would fix it. Now the app can’t generate a QR or login code. So something is definitely up.
Did you submit a ticket to Express VPN

Original post edited as US Netflix on Mediastreamer DNS is now working. However, US Prime Video is still not working.
I searched for “Wynonna Earp” (only available in the US) on Netflix and it came up, but didn’t try to play it. The Prime Video app showed a black screen on startup; I removed the smart DNS IP address and the app started right up. However, I added back the DNS IP and the app continued to work normally.
Finally solved this, no thanks to Express VPN guys. I think I read this somewhere. But just a background, I am using appletv 4k. What I did was copy the IP# to the manual dns numbers. Go to amazon, then sign in. Then you will be able to see the code to activate Prime Video (I got to this point because I deleted then reinstalled the PV App). After activating, it will show an error in signing in. Don’t fret. Just go back to dns numbers and manually input what Express VPN guys usually give us. It worked like a charm on mine! Hope this helps. Apparently its all about the new app of PV not working with ipv6 but just with ipv4 whatever that means. Sorry guys ha I am not that techy when it comes to terms.
Exact same here with Prime Video and the QR code - never seen that happen before so they’ve upped their DNS detection. Using the VPN app works though but I want it via. Mediastreamer DNS. If we all can submit a ticket so ExpressVPN can work on it.

Same issue here after formattting my friend’s Apple TV 4K & trying to reinstall Prime Video. Raised the issue with ExpressVPN. They’re on it.

What IP address did you use for the DNS at the beginning? I removed the ExpressVPN one and chose automatic previously in order to get the code and login to Prime Video but as soon as I used the ExpressVPN DNS I got the black screen. EDIT: fixed now without me having to do anything.
I was able to fix this by removing the media stream dns temporarily. This allowed prime to generate the code and I was able to login. I then swapped back in the dns and haven’t had issues yet, but fully expect to eventually lol
What are the settings you entered? Can you tell the ip address, subnet mask and dns server? Dont put real ones but fake ones so that i know what to enter? mine is not working
Did that and got the code but swapping back the DNS causes the same issue.
It’s not working for anyone right now. The international version of Netflix is showing instead.
