What I’ve found is if it’s free, it’s not relaible :joy: but there are some really affordable ones like shadow rocket, 15¥ per month after installing it on your phone. Or Clash.

Buy a Fritzbox, I am in China right now using the VPN configured in my home’s router.

run it on the cheapest computer u can get (probably some model of rpi) and leave it connected to your wifi network at home in your home country

That’s just terminology that lost its original meaning a long time ago. It’ll bypass the gfw, that’s what matters, I doubt that astrill uses any type of vpn protocol too. VPN = proxy = clash = whatever
