I installed it to check it out. There is a tab now in the Monitor window that says “Mobile View” that has a QR code. The QR code opens a browser to the IP address of the PC with a 5001 port.

So it’s running a service on port 5001 sending all the live GPU live data displayed in a mobile view for any device on your network. The page resembles the Monitor program with Line/Column View but with Max/Min inside the graph if you expand something.

The RAM used for the mobile service has been between 28-45 MB. I’m not seeing any memory leaks. It’s been running for 24 hours and still at 30 MB.

I’m also curious. I found no information in the patch notes or elsewhere.

What is concerning is that it appears to leak a considerable amount of memory. I won’t be installing this feature until both of these issues are addressed (the other issue being the lack of a description on what this feature actually is).

Oh that’s cool. I don’t have a use for it so I’m glad I didn’t install it but that’s actually a cool feature.

I can’t get my phone to connect to it any ideas why?

I tried opening up port 5001 on my windows firewall inbound and outbound, on my bell modem to my phones ip… it won’t connect.

Any ideas?

I have the mobile service installed and I didn’t find the tab you mentioned

But why would you need to see the stats of your computer from your phone. if you are at your computer and can use the mouse and keyboard  Its not like some ghost is playing while you are not home. and GPU will tell you because the numbers start to go up.

Your phone is on Wi-Fi right? Maybe the router is blocking it. I didn’t have to open any ports on the firewall or the router.
My PC is connected on Ethernet and my phone was on WiFi, same network

Playing with full screen isn’t something you do?
Well, I for one think Asus makes a fair case for their upsale by providing not only stellar built HW but user friendly software to boot.

Just got a 4080 today and this was a preem bonus.

Small screen, or don’t want some content covering the game.

I think it is because some people have little screens mounted inside the case to show all the stats. Instead of having the OSD when you are playing something full screen. I have an old android I could do this with but it gets hot when you leave it plugged in all the time so I have never wanted to put that inside the PC.

I figured it out… well someone else figured it out for me with their advice. I had my VPN running not thinking anything of it…

It works now

Yea it’s same network and on wifi…

Hmmm Oh well not a big deal

Great! Maybe this will help someone else
