What kind of apps do you want that is unavailable to your region?
If it’s good and safe it won’t be free. Any free one might be a scam.
I use vpnify. There are plenty of free connections and it’s unlimited. It does have ads before you connect and disconnect. You have the option to go premium and get rid of the ads.
Haven’t had any problems with it and it seems pretty good.
