What's a good free VPN

I’ve been using proton VPN for the longest time.

The downloads are slow. Don’t get me wrong but it works really well, or I use it for sites like watching anime online and various other things.

But now they’re gone. They don’t have a free version anymore.

Is anyone have a recommendation for a free VPN? I don’t care how slow it is, I just need to be able to connect to the Netherlands and have it free.

I’m not looking to pay for anything at all. Just a free VPN.

Most of the time if you are not paying for something that means you are the product.

I would be extremely suspicious of any free vpn for anything more than viewing overseas news.

None of them. Willingly subjecting yourself to a man-in-the-middle attack is a horrible idea.

There are no good free VPNs. Free VPNs basically track and spy on every last thing you do to sell it to advertisers.

Proton VPN is the best.

Don’t ever use a free vpn. All your traffic gets monitored and scrapped by the vpn company. That’s why it’s free. If you want a good vpn you need to pay. I like ExpressVPN because they store their data in RAM which means it’s very volatile memory and stored for a very short term. If the power goes out that memory is wiped, which is good for privacy.

Proton is the only free VPN I’d trust. But the paid version is cheap and better

Opera is known for blackmailing people with their data, I wouldn’t willingly give them all of my network data by using their VPN

I guess it works now. I just have to keep cycling through it to it connects to the Netherlands at random.

I don’t know why they changed it like that. It’s kind of dumb but whatever.

Why can’t I just select the goddamn Netherlands? Lol.

But it works I guess just have to f*** with it a bit more now I guess until it sucks the one I want

I got back into it and it’s working but it also doesn’t work as it used to.

I can’t really use it now. I need something that lets me connect to the Netherlands

It doesn’t let me select a server anymore. It’s always random I kept using the outdated version which actually was better than what their new version is
