Been testing PIA and for me its pitifully slow need to dump it before the month trial ends and find something better.
Any suggestions ?
This is impossible to answer as there are too many variables to account for. Your ISP, location, peers, etc.
PIA is faster than NordVPN for me - interested to see what alts are out there.
Since this is the torrent sub try Proton or AirVPN since they have port forwarding.

Proton. Allows port forwarding and split tunneling. After days of research on here it’s why I ended up with it
Speed is a function of the bandwidth the seeders are giving you. Always your vpn will be faster than that. I tested AirVPN a bandwidth and no vpn bandwidth and air was about ninety percent of that. Your torrent client will show the seeders speed. You want fast use Usenet. I switched over a while back.
I’ve tried Nord, PIA and AirVPN.
Except Nord, both saturate my 1gbps connection via wireguard (OpenVPN does not). AirVPN is better in terms of features - painless port forwarding, IPv6, custom configs for docker etc.
This is the only true answer. Torrenting is an incredibly relative experience. It’s like asking if something is “big”. What is big to me might not be big to you.
I’ve tried a few servers but it seems the fastest is the server closest to me and its really super slow
What server do you recommend to try ?
How do you switch to usenet?
Mm I just have select random server in a neighbor country and had no problem.
