In case anyone has been having issues with VPN Connections…
I use Windows 11 without a hitch. Obviously I’m biased but I’d say we would have noticed if one of the largest OSs suddenly had an influx of complaints.
Has anyone tested this update with Windscribe yet?
Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5036893)
I’ve had that installed since 4/10/24 without issues using IKEv2
My chrome extension won’t work as of yesterday. It says I’m connected to a server but when I look up my IP address I get my real one so idk what’s going on
I’ve been using WS without issue on Windows 11. I don’t update my PC as often as I probably should, though, so I may simply have not installed the update/s in question.
My Windows 10 Pro did not get KB5036893 on April 9, but it did get KB5036892 on April 10th.
Windscribe pro V2.9.9 still operating
Another reason to switch to Linux babe:)
I keep my Windows up to date, I run the updater manually every week, and I use Windscribe with IKEv2 without issues.
我的手机,浏览器插件,PC都 无法运行。我捍了他们说的KB5036893我也没有这个更新
Did you check your Windows update history to confirm you’ve downloaded KB5036893? I checked mine and don’t have it yet. Windows says I’m up to date as well with nothing more to download.
Yep, it says I installed it on April 10th.
For some uninteresting reason, I have two VPNs, the other one is Adguard, and I recall it was having issues. I thought it was Adguard just being Adguard, but perhaps the patch was causing that. So I switched back to Windscribe a week ago. So far no issues, but as I said, I use IKEv2 connections instead of the most popular Wireguard.

Not OP but I’ve had that installed since 4/10/24 without issues using IKEv2
Ahh, I’m on Windows 10. Maybe that’s why I haven’t gotten the updated yet. Glad to hear there are no issues, nonetheless.
