I know there are quite alot, but the one feature im looking for specifically is split tunneling (the abillity to only affect one selected program, or multiple selected programs) as before i switched it was something i used alot in protonvpn, but the feature got stripped off in the linux version
Mullvad are quite reputable and I think they support split tunneling.
Not really an Arch question, but like others wrote, pay for your vpn or you’re being sold to pay for it.
Good resource: Private VPN Service Recommendations and Comparison, No Sponsors or Ads - Privacy Guides and r/privacyguides and maybe r/vpn.
Recognize the vpn industry claims and advertising are notoriously unethical. VPN’s are security theatre for the majority of customers.
Free is never good. I use nordvpn, and like it. Its fast and fairly priced. No gui tho, but wireguard is supported.
Windscribe or Mullvad
Windscribe. Build a custom plan and it’s $2 usd a month
yeah, appsumo had one lifetime for $49. goosevpn
ifyou need more locations there’s always nord
they don’t support port forwarding afaik tho
Another vote for Mullvad here. They do seem to be about as good as you’re likely to find.
A vote for Mullvad from me too.
You did read the OP where they said they used it, right?
I second Proton, been using it for a while now on the free tier and I never have speed issues and can stream and everything on it without a problem.
If you care about privacy, mullvad is the best.
No I actually missed that
